Care~oling

But the godly will flourish like palm trees and grow strong like the cedars of Lebanon.
For they are transplanted to the LORD’s own house.
They flourish in the courts of our God.
Even in old age they will still produce fruit; they will remain vital and green.
They will declare, “The LORD is just! He is my rock!
There is no evil in him! -Psalm 92:12-14

Palm Sunday readings:

John 12:12-15
When they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,

They took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried,
Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that cometh in the name of the Lord.

And Jesus, when he had found a young donkey, sat thereon; as it is written,
Fear not, daughter of Zion: behold, thy King cometh, sitting on a donkey’s colt.

Luke 24: 5-6
The men in white said to the women,

“Why do you look for the living among the dead?
He is not here; he is risen!

Easter Sunday reading:

Luke 24:1-6

Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre,
bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them.

And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre.
And they entered in, and found  not  the body of the Lord Jesus.

And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments:

And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them,

Why seek ye the living among the dead?
He is not here, but is risen!

And I will still be carrying you when you are old.
Your hair will turn gray, and I will still carry you.
I made you, and I will carry you to safety.  – Isaiah 46:4
