To keep books well loved:

Wash hands
Avoid eating and drinking while reading library books
Turn pages by outside corners, rather than the bottom
Do not dog-ear pages
Do not lay open book face down
Keep books out of the bathroom
Do not write in any books, reading books or curriculum



How many:

Limit of 10 children’s picture books or  5 textual books per person.
Limit of 40 books per family- 20 picture books and 20 reading books.
Up to 5 pieces of curriculum per family.
Large curriculum/texts may be checked out for a year. Smaller curriculum may be checked out up to 6 months.


How long:

Membership is for a year, paid monthly, or in one payment if preferred.
Large curriculum/texts may be checked out for a year. Smaller curriculum may be checked out up to 6 months.
A late fee of $1 per book or game will be charged per month up to 6 months.
Your CC number will be kept in a sealed locked file for charges if needed.


To whom:

To library members only.
Materials are loaned to you and your family and should not be loaned to other individuals or families. If other families wish to borrow materials, they need to fill out an agreement to borrow directly.

Checking out:

Books are checked out for 1 month. May be rechecked out up to a total of 2 months.Your email will be needed for library correspondence. An email with the books that were checked out will be sent to the borrower.
To recheck out for a second month, reply to the email we sent, letting us know you are re-checking out.
Postal members will have a 10 week loan period to allow for transit.
A cloth or canvas bag or tote box will be needed to transport and store library books and games.


Late, Damage or Loss:

A yearly $20 refundable deposit is required for book damage or loss. Not refunded upon damage or loss.
After 6 months, the current amazon rate for replacement will be charged plus shipping.
There may be a separate refundable deposit for books that are ‘old’. Not refunded upon damage or loss.

Please make no repairs yourself; we have the preferred supplies.
Be mindful at the library. Libraries are quiet spaces.
Bring and use your bag or tote.
Transport books laying flat, rather than vertical.

This is a private, family friendly library. We have material that we deem appropriate for children and families. Though not all of our materials are Christian, we cater to that religious belief. We may discontinue any memberships that do not share our worldview, as they might be better served at a different library.
