What IS a coach?
A coach is someone who comes along side a client to help, encourage, and support.

I don’t think I have what it takes to be a coach.
Do you have experience homeschooling? Did you survive? Then you do!

Me, a coach? I don’t know how to be a coach.
You will be provided some tips along the way. But think of coaching as sitting down with a fellow homeschool mom, maybe a younger mom, or maybe a mom who is newer to homeschooling…. You sit at Scooters with a cup of coffee and help her navigate her questions and concerns, maybe you map out a schedule, or share your kids’ favorite books. You coach by relying on the wisdom that you built over years of experience.

But I don’t know all the latest and greatest that is out there.
That’s OK. You know the principles, you know the struggles, you found solutions, you learned the hard way sometimes. That is what you can pass on to others. That’s what homeschool moms NEED to have passed to them! That wisdom is a hard earned, valuable gift you can give.

Is this a paid?
Yes. You will be paid per session.

Where are the sessions with clients held?
Anywhere that is convenient for you and your client. Preferably at least the first meeting would be in person, but this is up to you and the client. Sessions can be in person, or online via zoom, or any other method you and your client prefer.

What time of day are sessions with clients?
Whatever time is agreeable to you and your client.

What are my responsibilities?
To schedule with your client, send them a meeting reminder, be aware of coaching tips and info sent to you, let RLL know you held a session, keep general notes on the session and send a copy to RLL. Also, be aware of the books, curriculum, and resources available to your client through The Library at Real Living Life (the Homeschool Library) so you can refer your clients to use these Library resources as it will be a cost saver for your client.
